Slices of lamb with lemon oil and Asian gremolata

  1. 4 slices of lamb
  2. 1-2 tbsp of olive oil
  3. Juice of ½ lemon
  4. Salt and pepper, to taste

Asian gremolata

  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 5 ml grated ginger
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • ½ bunch of chopped cilantro
  • ½ bunch of chopped mint
  • ½ bunch of chopped basil
  • ¼ chili powder


  1. Mix the gremolata ingredients together and set aside in the refrigerator.
  2. Brush the slices of lamb with oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the tablespoon of olive oil with the juice of a lemon and brush the slices of leg of lamb. Salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the lamb slices on the BBQ for about 6 minutes on each side.
  5. You can brush the slices with a few spoonfuls of Asian gremolata at the end of cooking.
  6. Serve with the remaining gremolota on the slices.
